EUFLEXXA is a sterile, viscoelastic solution of highly purified, high molecular weight (2.4–3.6 million daltons) sodium hyaluronate, derived from bacterial fermentation and suspended in phosphate-buffered saline. It is indicated for knee osteoarthritis pain relief in patients unresponsive to non-pharmacologic therapies or simple analgesics like acetaminophen.
